My name is Yevgeniy (Eugene) Slutskiy and I am a Mental Health Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, and Utah. I have been working in the mental health field for close to 20 years. I am passionate about helping people overcome their mental health concerns through counseling. I primarily practice from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach and I also utilize mindfulness practices. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you in processing and overcoming life's challenges.
The first session is an evaluative 'get to know you' session, where we complete an in-depth review of your bio-psycho-social history and treatment goals, in this setting.
I am a great listener, I express accurate empathy, and I am well trained in effective counseling modalities.
I primarily work with adult clients who are motivated to seek change in their lives.
