Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I specialize in EMDR which can help heal the brain and body from post traumatic stress, anxiety, physical pain, depression, eating disorders, addictions-honestly anything the client is living with that is hindering their life. I have worked extensively with Veterans, Active Duty, and First Responders. In addition to EMDR I do offer a cognitive behavioral approach if preferred where the client and I look at specific patterns of behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that lead to either negative or positive feedback loops in their life. I then give "homework" that the client can then practice to see if those negative feedback loops change.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect the first and second session to be Intake- a lot of questions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel empathy, and honesty are my greatest strengths as a therapist.
