I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Florida (originally from the Midwest) with over 15 years of experience helping individuals lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe space for you to explore and better understand yourself. I work with clients to develop practical tools for managing emotions, improving relationships, and navigating life’s challenges. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and together we can identify strengths, build insight, and find solutions that feel right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will be focused on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. I will ask you questions about your current concerns, your background, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I want you to be comfortable, so you can share as must or as little as you want in our first session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe and supported. I am passionate about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and believe that by changing unhelpful thought patterns, meaningful life changes can follow. I also integrate other approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and client-centered therapy, to tailor treatment to your unique needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who feel ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. They may be dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or a general sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. I can support clients who want to explore how their past experiences, beliefs, and emotional habits shape their current lives. Some may feel overwhelmed or burnt out, while others may appear “high-functioning” on the outside but struggle internally with self-doubt, perfectionism, or emotional fatigue. Many of my clients are open to reflection and willing to engage in the therapeutic process, even if it feels uncomfortable at times. They value a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where they can be honest, challenged when needed, and supported as they grow.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. I guide clients in identifying and challenging negative thinking patterns and replacing them with more realistic ones. I can help to change behaviors, build coping skills, and improve emotional well-being.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is the process of teaching clients about their mental health, thoughts, and behaviors so they can better understand and manage their experiences. I can help clients understand mental health conditions through education.
