Welcome! If you are reading this, you have noticed that things in your life are difficult to manage or maybe you need to learn ways to manage day-to-day stressors. You are in the right place. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Jennifer Sublett. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia, Florida, and Ohio. I obtained my MSW from Valdosta State University. My interest in behavioral health began several years before as a public school teacher. I began to see a growing need for behavioral health services in the students I taught year to year. Soon after I was awarded my MSW, I began working in community health with a school-based mental health program working with children, adolescents, and families. I then branched out and became Director of Social Services in an inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health hospital. This allowed me to work more with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, family problems, relationship problems, divorce, anger management, and life changes. From then, I spent some time in the corporate world managing social work programs. My private practice is one of my main happy places. The joy I experience helping others manage, cope, and heal can not be duplicated. I enjoy using a variety of techniques and therapies including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, solution-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing, along with a strengths-based psychodynamic approach to meet clients where they are. I feel passionate about behavioral health and strive to change lives one session at a time.
While therapy is a process and everyone proceeds at individual paces, it is my hope you will leave each session feeling a “little lighter” with new ways to cope with life’s troubles. You will learn techniques to manage whatever life throws at you.
I utilize various therapeutic modalities to help clients in achieving goals. Some of these modalities are: Talk Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR, psychodynamic and strengths based approaches.
My biggest strength is helping clients navigate past and current traumas utilizing EMDR as well as other various modalities to meet clients where they are in the healing journey. I want to empower my clients and work alongside them to discover hidden strengths.
