Usually, my clients seek therapy and counseling after struggling with challenges for days and sometimes months. Over time, these same challenges create maladaptive behavior patterns that must be corrected to facilitate change. However, my clients tend to dig in while inserting a host of new concerns. Albert Einstien wrote: "We can't solve today's problems with the mentality that created them" With this in mind, it is better to seek professional services and resources: Recognizing you're not alone in this healing process. I understand that therapy cannot solve all things of the past that challenge us, but clients can seek support, understanding, and better days. I have extensive experience working with the military population and their families, with children and young adults, with relationship issues, and with addictions. I'm retired from the military and worked as a clinical supervisor training new therapists.
