Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Union University. I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed by stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or persistent emotional patterns they don’t fully understand. Many of my clients come to therapy wondering, “Why do I keep reacting this way?” or “Why does this feel harder for me than it should?” Together, we explore the underlying patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, and responses. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping you gain insight while also building practical tools you can use in everyday life. Life can feel chaotic at times. My goal is to help you create more stability, clarity, and calm — not by changing who you are, but by helping you better understand yourself and respond with intention rather than overwhelm. If you’re ready to begin that process, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll begin with introductions and talk about what has led you to seek therapy at this time. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals at your own pace. We’ll also begin reviewing any assessments you’ve completed to better understand your responses and identify patterns that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This helps us build a clear starting point and create a plan that feels supportive and personalized to you. Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable beginning this process.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With 13 years of experience in the field of social work, I have developed practical, effective strategies to support individuals who are struggling with their past and feeling unsure about how to move forward. I help clients gain insight into how past experiences may be shaping their present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also creating a clear and realistic plan to move their lives in a direction that feels meaningful and intentional.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand how their past experiences may be influencing their present and shaping their future. Together, we explore those patterns with curiosity and compassion, while identifying meaningful changes that can help you move toward the outcomes you truly desire.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with clients, including those processing trauma and other emotional challenges. CBT helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how those patterns may be influencing their current experiences. Through this approach, clients gain insight into why they are reacting the way they do, while also developing practical coping skills to manage everyday stressors more effectively. My goal is to help you build awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and feel more confident navigating daily life.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work with clients, including those navigating trauma and other emotional challenges. CBT helps individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how these patterns influence their daily experiences. Through this approach, clients gain clarity about why they may be feeling or reacting a certain way, while also learning practical coping skills to better manage stress and everyday life. My goal is to help you build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop tools that support long-term growth and stability.
