Hi, I’m Andrea. I presume you found my profile because you are seeking to make a positive change in your life? I applaud your efforts. Taking the first step on your path to wellness is the most important, and for some, the most intimidating. Lets face it, it’s not easy to open up to a total stranger about your mental health needs. That’s why it is important to find a mental health clinician with whom you can connect. A clinician who possesses the qualities and skills essential to developing and growing a therapeutic relationship with you. Let me tell you a bit more about myself, so YOU can decide if we’d be a good fit. I am dual-certified as a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. As a PMHNP, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PSTD, OCD, insomnia, and ADHD. I consider myself a very open minded individual and accept patients of all shapes, sizes, colors, creeds, backgrounds, sexual/gender orientations, ethnicity, and anything else that makes you, you. Given my professional background I am keenly aware of the interplay between the mind and body, and therefore tend to take a more holistic approach to treatment. My goal is to work with you to find a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan that incorporates traditional medicine, counseling, and complementary modalities such as nutrition, exercise, breath work, and other interventions. If you feel like we would be a good fit, please use the contact information to schedule an appointment. See you soon!
It is a bit different for everyone. My goal is to meet you where you are at and then we can move forward together from there.
I am fortunate enough to say that one of my biggest strengths is that I truly enjoy what I do. When you love what you do it shows in your work. “Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” – Rumi
