Lorianna Kardok, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health therapist with more than 17 years of experience helping individuals break free from emotional and relational patterns that leave them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. She works with clients who often feel unsure about their emotions, struggle to understand their reactions, or find themselves repeating the same painful relationship cycles. Many of the people she supports have spent years prioritizing others’ needs while feeling unable to identify or express their own. Lorianna specializes in helping clients understand the deeper roots of their emotional and behavioral patterns. She guides individuals in exploring why they choose certain partners, why the same conflicts keep resurfacing, and why they may feel alone or frustrated despite their best efforts. Her work focuses on helping clients reconnect with themselves, heal from past wounds, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships—both with others and with their own inner world.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With extensive experience in private practice, outpatient treatment, and residential settings, Lorianna has also served as a Clinical Director overseeing therapeutic teams. Her training includes REBT, DBT, Trauma‑Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment work and Motivational Interviewing. She is licensed in Florida and Ohio. Lorianna understands that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when someone has doubts about whether it will help. She offers a complimentary brief consultation to answer questions, ease concerns, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit. Her mission is to help clients gain clarity, heal from the past, and build the meaningful, connected life they’ve been longing for.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

If desired, integrating your faith into therapy is one of the best ways we believe you can tackle mental health issues. Lorianna's goal is to bring you closer to God and figure out core issues in your life.

Couples Counseling

Bringing two people together is no easy task, there is no shame in having a middle man to help get you all on the same page. Whether it is communication, parenting, intimacy or finances, Lorianna is here to help!

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma and PTSD therapy is vital because it helps people heal the emotional and physical impact of overwhelming experiences. It provides a safe space to process what the body and mind couldn’t handle at the time, understand lingering reactions, and rebuild a sense of safety and control. With the right support, individuals can break painful patterns, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with greater stability and confidence.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts eventually determine our behavior. We will work on targeting negative thought patterns and in turn having better behaviors and actions. CBT is helpful because it teaches people to recognize unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier ones. It builds practical coping skills, reduces stress, and supports lasting behavior change, making challenges feel more manageable and improving overall emotional well‑being.
