New to Grow
I work with mostly BIPOC men, women, and teens. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and process childhood wounds. Individuals typically come to me when they want to get to the source of their trauma. I’ll work with you to navigate core wounds and identify the patterns you now see in yourself as an adult. My style of therapy is different, and I pride myself on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients. Together, we break cycles, learn/implement coping skills, and give ourselves grace as we unlearn toxic behaviors.
I regularly integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work. In the first session, we'll explore what led you to seek therapy and identify goals to work toward. Using CBT, I'll guide you in exploring how your thinking influences your feelings and ultimately your life experiences. I'll help you learn strategies to challenge those initial thoughts to disrupt patterns and cycles.
I offer a unique approach to therapy—a space that allows you to unpack and share while being challenged, encouraged, and supported. I’ll work with you to identify thoughts, feelings, and actions that could be problematic, while also providing language and education on what you’re experiencing. My definition of therapy is getting to the source. I believe that if we don’t get to the source, we will continue to repeat patterns. If you’re ready for better and you want a support system that holds you accountable while also providing a safe space to be honest, unpack, and grow, I encourage you to schedule a session.
