I’m Dr. Gabriella Greco, a board-certified psychiatrist with a patient-centered approach rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect. I work with adolescents and adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and addiction. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and empowered. I combine evidence-based treatments, including medication management, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, with a deep commitment to helping you achieve lasting growth and stability.
In our first session, we’ll take the time to get to know each other and explore what brings you in. I’ll ask questions about your symptoms, personal history, goals, and what’s worked or not worked in the past. This helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and how I can best support you. You’re welcome to go at your own pace. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from day one.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to build trust quickly by meeting patients with empathy, respect, and zero judgment. I take time to truly understand each person’s story and tailor treatment to their unique needs, combining evidence-based approaches like medication management, CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. I’m skilled at working with complex cases, including co-occurring conditions, and I’m committed to helping clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to take control of their mental health.
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and take meaningful steps toward healing. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or challenges related to relationships, identity, or life transitions. Some are high-achieving but overwhelmed, others feel stuck or misunderstood. I also specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those recovering from addiction. Whether you’re seeking clarity, stability, or lasting change, I offer a safe, collaborative space where your goals and values lead the way.
Trauma Informed Care
Whether you’re sharing something difficult or just checking in, I strive to make each telehealth session feel safe, supportive, and empowering. You’re the expert on your own story, and I’m here to support you with compassion and respect.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help patients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to distress and work on building healthier, more balanced ways of thinking and coping. I often use CBT strategies alongside medication management, tailoring the approach to your specific needs, whether it’s anxiety, depression, trauma, or ADHD.
Psychoeducation
I incorporate psychoeducation into my sessions to help patients better understand their diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment options. I believe that knowledge is empowering-when you understand what’s happening in your brain and body, you can make more informed decisions and feel more in control of your care. I take time to explain how medications work, what to expect in therapy, and how lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, and nutrition can affect mental health
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help patients build skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and coping with stress in healthier ways. In our sessions, we focus on practical strategies such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. DBT can be especially helpful for individuals who experience mood swings, self-destructive behaviors, or difficulty with impulse control. I integrate DBT skills into treatment plans alongside medication management, always tailoring the approach to your specific needs and goals.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support patients in exploring their own reasons for change, without pressure or judgment. It’s a collaborative, patient-centered approach that helps strengthen motivation by resolving ambivalence. Rather than telling you what to do, I ask open-ended questions, reflect back what I hear, and help you clarify your own values and goals. MI is especially useful for issues like substance use, medication adherence, and behavior change, and I often combine it with other therapeutic approaches like CBT or DBT.

Dr. Greco may be the best doctor I've ever met with. Because she is a psychiatrist, she knows all the therapeutic science and is up-to-date on new research and knowledge. Unlike any psychiatric practitioner I have ever met with - either for myself or as an advocate for another client (I work in social services) Dr. G exudes compassion as well as flexibility in problem solving skills. Dr. Greco is the real deal.
