As a Practitioner, I consider it as a privilege and trustworthy to be able to meet and helping people from different walks of life who come to me during their hard times and share their stories. Big adjustments, such as going through a divorce, losing a loved one, living alone, dealing with a terminal illness, trying make a relationship work between two partners, to back to school, starting a new job, retiring, early stage of dementia, moving in together with a partner, or having a child, can be triggering and lead a person to seek help to gain clarity and develop better coping skills. Our patients population are: Depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD. I look forward to working with you and helping you to be your best self again.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I treat my clients with high-quality care and compassion. I am receptive to the distinctive mental health needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have been a long-standing advocate for whole-person care and holistic nursing. I give a lot of meaning to multicultural perspectives on healthcare.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

During the Initial Assessment I take my time to build the therapeutic alliance with my client, ask a lot of questions about their current symptoms, what brought you to treatment, and work closely with them to identify goals and objectives they would like to focus on in therapy. My initial session is generally spent gathering relevant personal and psychiatric history pertaining to self and family of origin. I am also interested in your past, significant events that you feel have shaped you, and past treatments (things that have worked and haven't worked). I encourage open dialogue with clients; if something isn't working, I want to know so we can attempt to address the problem.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe each individual person is distinct and should be treated as a unique human being, during the treatment process. I individualized the treatment plan for each person that comes seeking help. I love working with clients that are in needs of mental health supports. From my professional training, and experiences background I have acquired the knowledges, skills, and self-confidence to manage a wide array of mental and behavioral health issues.
