Together I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the issues or habits holding you back from being and feeling your best self. I have provided mental health counseling for 19 years and my expertise in counseling includes abuse, trauma, and addiction issues. I have extensive work with families, couples counseling, adults, adolescents and court-ordered individuals. As a professional, my work centers around helping individuals to get what they want from therapy. Life sometimes gets complicated as we travel through our journey. Together we can learn ways to live life in peace in the "Now".
First session
Clients can expect to take away coping techniques, strategies, and disputing irrational thoughts that hold clients back from changing their beliefs to change their behaviors. Being stuck and repeating the same feelings or thoughts over and over intensifies anxiety, depression and other bad feelings causing more issues.
Strengths
I believe one of my strongest strengths as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is the ability to listen and hear what my client is saying. Listening is an art but hearing is the key to good therapy. Compassion and value help people grow along with accepting it's okay to make a mistake.
