(she/her)
Hi, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey but also licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, and Florida. Additionally, I am a Licensed Clinical Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LCADC). I received my MSW from Widener University and have been practicing since 2018. I use many different techniques to work with the individual needs of my clients. I am trained in EMDR and continue to educate myself in trauma-based techniques as part of what drew me into this field of work, was helping others to heal from their childhood (and beyond).
During our first session, we will get to know one another and discuss the current challenges you may be facing. From there we can talk about best ways to approach these challenges as we move forward in therapy and set future goals.
My counseling experience includes mental health as well as addiction treatment, in both the inpatient and outpatient/telehealth settings. I specialize in working with those who are experiencing interpersonal conflicts, trauma responses, depression, anxiety, and life changes. I work towards helping my clients process adverse life experiences and identify unhealthy core beliefs that affect how they interact with the world.
I have a broad background working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, trauma and/or addiction. Helping clients to heal and work through areas in which they feel stuck has been a passion of mine. I also truly enjoy working with young adults transitioning into college and/or getting their footing in navigating the world.
I pull from different techniques and modalities depending on my client but my care is fully trauma informed. I work with modalities such as TF-CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, and more.
