What would you do if you were free from anxiety/depression/fear/regret...? Life challenges often exacerbate our worst fears and behaviors. Together, we will sort through issues, find the roots of the problem, and develop a plan. I want you to love your life again! Psychiatry is a life time passion of mine. I am amazed at how much we can improve our lives by understanding ourselves better. I received my education from NYU and Fairfield University. I offer psychotherapy and medication management. Currently, I am seeing patients in Greenwich, Westport and via video.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

At our first meeting we will discuss main concerns and set goals. We will go over what has worked and what hasn't. The first meeting is our chance to establish a relationship and work on setting the goals of therapy. What will success look like?

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have gone through lots of life transitions and it helps me to relate on a personal level. I have used the tools I teach. I am very passionate about making people love their lives again after getting over a conundrum they found themselves uncomfortably stuck in.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Most of my clients find me when they are going through a life transition: marriage, children, divorce, career change, aging, and they lost a sense of fulfillment and meaning. They need a recharge. I can connect on a deeper level, as I have personally gone through most of the above, and used the same tools I am teaching.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I received specialized training in this therapeutic approach and have seen dramatic results in patients who qualify. It is backed by by scientific evidence and has proven efficacy in reducing symptoms and shortening the course of therapy.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT for improving psychological flexibility, which allows my clients to respond more effectively to life's challenges and pursue a meaningful life guided by their values.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is a collaborative, short, strengths-based therapy approach that empowers my clients to create solutions to the problems, amplify the strengths, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT empowers clients to manage thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and understand their interplay. Challenging unhelpful patterns and learning new ways of thinking leads to significant improvements in emotional well-being and life satisfaction.

Mind-body approach

Mind-body therapy takes a holistic approach to health, considering the interconnectedness and the feedback mechanisms of the mind, body, and spirit. Physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual fulfillment are intertwined and influence each other.
