About me

Korei grew up in a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Ohio University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She has worked in nursing since 2014 in various specialties and with all age groups across the lifespan. She has always had a passion for mental health and a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, as her younger brother has ASD. She has two daughters, ages 13 and 2.5, and she is always looking for fun spots to check out with them. In her free time, she goes to the gym, plays basketball, and enjoys hiking with her dog, Ace. Her favorite quote is, “change is inevitable, growth is optional.”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be one hour duration with subsequent sessions being 30 minutes in length. In this first session we will discuss current symptoms, prior medical and psychiatric history, family history, and both medication and non- medication options for managing symptoms. I take a holistic approach and meet my patients where they are at, collaborating with them to create a treatment plan that we feel is best tailored to help them persevere through all the challenges life brings.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prioritize educating my patients about their diagnosis, the medication options, and rationales for various treatment measures so that they feel empowered to be an active participant in their treatment plan. As simple as it sounds my greatest strength is listening, I actively listen to my patients providing a non-judgmental, supportive space to help navigate situational stressors.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Korei connects well with exhausted mothers, because she is one! She treats numerous psychiatric diagnosis including MDD, GAD, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar 1 and 2, and personality disorders. She connects well with individuals and families with autism spectrum disorders with prior focus on skill development as an independent provider. She also connects with those navigating unhealthy romantic relationships because well, dating is HARD! ****Please note that Korei has elected not to prescribe controlled substances via telehealth at this time.****
