Samantha Seagreaves

LPC (she/her)4 years of experience

My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a space where they can slow down, breathe, and feel supported without judgment. I offer a warm, collaborative environment where teens, adults, and parents can show up exactly as they are. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of themselves. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re carrying, feel more grounded, and leave each session with a little more clarity and hope. I offer a supportive space for teenagers to explore school stress, friendships, family expectations, and identity development. With adults, my work focuses on the layered realities of everyday life; responsibilities, relationships, work demands, and the emotional weight that comes with trying to “do it all.” If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for things to feel different, I’m here to help. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating — it can be a place where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged as you navigate whatever comes next. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

Strengths

A core strength I bring to my work is the genuine, trusting relationships I build with my clients. I focus on creating a space where people feel safe, understood, and valued, which allows them to open up at their own pace and feel supported throughout the therapeutic process. This connection becomes the foundation for meaningful growth, healing, and collaboration in our work together.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who’s ready to explore their experiences and take an active role in creating meaningful change. I’m a direct, goal‑oriented clinician. Clients that want a collaborative, engaged partnership tend to thrive with me. Clients that show up consistently help build momentum, develop goals that truly matter to you, and strengthen coping strategies that support real progress. I am comfortable working with teenagers through adults who are seeking a more fulfilling, balanced life and are ready to invest in themselves.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT aims to help clients understand the interconnection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Working on challenging and changing our thoughts can have a direct impact on our feelings and behavior.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing helps people understand their own reasons for wanting change. It can be helpful when someone feels unsure, stuck, or conflicted about making a change. The goal is to strengthen the client’s confidence, clarify what matters to them, and help them move toward choices that feel meaningful and realistic.
