New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, individuals, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and feelings of overwhelm or disconnection. I bring over 10 years of experience in the public school system, supporting children’s emotional and behavioral needs and partnering with families to strengthen relationships. I work with clients who feel stuck, unmotivated, or unsure how to move forward, as well as those seeking deeper self-exploration. Using evidence-based approaches, I provide a supportive, collaborative space to build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier patterns. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in creating meaningful, lasting change.
Our first session focuses on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to change. You’ll have space to share your experiences, identify goals, and begin noticing patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I will also introduce my approach and what ongoing work may look like. The process is paced collaboratively, with the goal of helping you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and oriented toward next steps.
I integrate warmth, collaboration, and evidence-based care, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs. Therapy focuses on strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and increasing self-understanding to support meaningful, lasting change, including greater resilience, improved relationships, and increased clarity and agency. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or looking for support, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I invite you to reach out when you're ready to begin the process of healing and growth.
I meet clients where they are. I support children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, and emotional dysregulation. I work with both those who feel ready for change and those who are still finding their footing. Therapy is a collaborative process aimed at building insight, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healthier ways of responding and relating. You are welcome here.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
My approach incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) strategies informed by professional training and continuing education. I support clients in strengthening emotion regulation, navigating interpersonal challenges, and tolerating distress through practical skill-building. Sessions often integrate mindfulness techniques, behavioral strategies, and a balance of acceptance and change-oriented interventions.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Drawing from training and continuing education in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help clients develop greater psychological flexibility by changing their relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. My work emphasizes mindfulness, values clarification, and committed action to support meaningful, sustainable growth.
Trauma-Focused CBT
My work is informed by training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), supporting children and adolescents impacted by trauma through emotion regulation, cognitive coping, and trauma processing interventions. I also collaborate closely with caregivers to promote safety, resilience, and emotional support. My clinical perspective is further shaped by more than a decade of experience working with children in public school settings.
Play Therapy
I utilize play-based interventions to help children express emotions, process experiences, and strengthen coping skills in developmentally appropriate ways. I aim to create a supportive therapeutic environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
My approach incorporates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques informed by professional training. I help clients gradually face feared situations while reducing compulsive behaviors and avoidance patterns, with a focus on increasing distress tolerance, flexibility, and confidence over time.
