I’m really glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adults navigating challenges such as stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-worth, with a specialty in trauma and addiction. I believe the connection we build in therapy matters, and I’m here to meet you where you are while supporting you in creating the life you want. I see therapy as a collaborative, empowering space to explore your story and reconnect with yourself. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, and when you’re ready, I’d love to connect.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can truly be yourself. In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what’s been going on for you and what you’re hoping for, at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll touch on your background and current stress, and you can ask anything that’s on your mind. Most of all, it’s about seeing how it feels to work together and making sure it feels like a good fit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is showing up as my genuine self and building real, trusting relationships with my clients. I work to create a space that feels natural and comfortable, where you can let your guard down and feel supported as you do meaningful work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, or a bit disconnected from themselves and are wanting to better understand what they’re feeling and why. I really enjoy working with clients who are curious about their inner world and open to exploring the connection between their thoughts, emotions and body. This often includes folks who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or emotional ups and downs, and who are wanting to feel more grounded, clear, and confident in themselves.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I use a person-centered approach, which emphasizes the importance of creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. I believe that each individual has an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I incorporate principles of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach is based on the idea that it is not simply life events that create emotional distress, but the beliefs we hold about those events.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize, and build upon their existing internal resources. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or deficits, I intentionally highlight each client’s resilience, capabilities, and past successes as a foundation for growth and healing.

Somatic

I draw from somatic-based interventions to help clients notice and track internal bodily experiences such as tension, breath patterns, posture, and sensation. By increasing this awareness, clients can begin to recognize how their body responds to emotional triggers and begin to build capacity for regulation and self-soothing.
