New to Grow
I’m really glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with teens and adults navigating challenges such as stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-worth, with a specialty in trauma and addiction. I believe the connection we build in therapy matters, and I’m here to meet you where you are while supporting you in creating the life you want. I see therapy as a collaborative, empowering space to explore your story and reconnect with yourself. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, and when you’re ready, I’d love to connect.
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can truly be yourself. In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what’s been going on for you and what you’re hoping for. We’ll touch on your background and current stress, and you can ask anything that’s on your mind. Most of all, it’s about seeing how it feels to work together and making sure it feels like a good fit.
My greatest strength as a therapist is showing up as my genuine self and building real, trusting relationships with my clients. I work to create a space that feels natural and comfortable, where you can let your guard down and feel supported as you do meaningful work.
I work best with teens and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, self-critical, or a bit disconnected from themselves and are wanting to better understand what they’re feeling and why. I really enjoy working with clients who are curious about their inner world and open to exploring the connection between their thoughts, emotions and body. This often includes folks who feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or emotional ups and downs, and who are wanting to feel more grounded, clear, and confident in themselves.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use a person-centered approach, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can grow, heal, and better understand yourself.
Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy
I apply REBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and how their beliefs shape their emotional experiences.
Strength-Based
I incorporate a strengths-based approach to help clients build on their resilience, capabilities, and past successes as a foundation for growth and healing.
Somatic
I draw from somatic approaches to help clients notice bodily experiences and build awareness, regulation, and self-soothing skills.
