I'm Lily, a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed therapist supporting mothers, parents and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and the identity shifts that come with both. My practice is fully telehealth, which means you can meet with me from wherever feels safest and most comfortable, your couch, your car during a nap window, wherever works. I just care about you showing up as you are. As a parent, human, 1st generation Latina, and someone who has lived through depression, postpartum struggles, and loss, I'm drawn to supporting others through situations that can be difficult to even put into words. My work is personal. Instead of seeing clients as a number, I hold space for the parts of life that are hard to process, heal, or acknowledge. My hope is to be part of a journey that doesn't just empower my clients, but also gives them tools and skills they can carry forward to navigate this journey we call life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Think of our first session as a conversation, not a checklist. I want to understand you and what brought you here, meeting you exactly where you are. It's engaging, unhurried, and the beginning of your story in therapy, the first step in building trust between us.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Even after years in school and trainings, my strengths come from lived experience as a therapist, a mother, and a person who has done my own work. My approach is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and training in mindfulness and person-centered care. I meet clients exactly where they are and get curious about what they really need and want to get out of therapy. From there we will collaborate to build the skills to best support you. I honor your story, and I help clients shift their perspective from "what is wrong with me?" to "what has happened in my life that has led me to react or respond this way?" I know some people prefer a more manualized treatment model and my approach blends that structure with reflection, honoring your story, and understanding your culture. We'll work on what you need, and pivot when we need to. In my experience, when people come to therapy hoping to feel better and we start learning their story together, they don't just develop awareness, they develop an understanding and compassion for themselves that can be quite liberating. We go at your pace, and I'll gently guide or push when it's needed.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with pregnant mothers, new parents, moms, women, and first-generation Latinas navigating the pressures of building a life between cultures often while carrying expectations no one else in the family has had to name out loud. My ideal clients are ready to find themselves again, or maybe for the first time to reconnect with their own voice after months (or years) of putting everyone else first. Many are searching for a sense of community, a place where their culture and story are understood rather than explained. Above all, they're looking for a space rooted in compassion, where they can be honest without judgment and start showing themselves the same care they give everyone around them.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients stop fighting their thoughts and feelings and start living in line with what actually matters to them. In practice, that might look like helping a new mom notice an anxious thought ("I'm not doing this right") without letting it run the show, instead of trying to erase the thought, we work on making room for it while she still shows up for the parts of her life and values that matter to her, like connection with her baby or partner.

Trauma-Focused CBT

For clients whose pregnancy, birth, or postpartum experience brought up past trauma, or created new trauma of its own, TF-CBT gives us a structured, paced way to process what happened without it feeling retraumatizing. We build coping skills first, then work through the story at a pace the client controls, so the goal isn't to relive the hardest moments but to help them stop having power over daily life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

At its core, this means you're the expert on your own life, not me. My role is to offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, not analyzed or fixed. Instead of directing every session, I follow your lead, trusting that you already carry the insight and strength you need. We move at your pace, and together we build the kind of trust that lets real change happen naturall
