About me

Hi! I'm Sarah and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Florida. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 from Lynn University in Boca Raton and have been practicing for seven years. I have worked with various populations dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, women's issues, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I appreciate working with clients in young and early adulthood who are ready and willing to put in the work to make changes in their life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together we will focus on getting to know each other. We'll start with a brief introduction and then discuss the specific problem that inspired you to seek therapy, what you hope to achieve over the course of treatment and determine if we are a good fit to work together. If the vibe is right and we decide to move forward and work together, we will develop a plan to achieve your specific goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am open minded and enjoy learning how my clients' cultures, perspectives and experiences influence their story, the decisions they make, and how they navigate challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about helping those who struggle with self-esteem, whether that presents as anxiety, depression, body image issues or relationship/or life transitions. I help clients build insight and awareness around the patterns and behaviors they may be struggling with. From there, we'll work together challenging these self-limiting thoughts and replace them to make meaningful changes and build a life you're proud and excited about.

I’ve been searching for a therapist since 2017 that reminded me of my first therapist and I haven’t been able to find anyone I was able to click with so well. With Sarah she makes me feel comfortable. She provides me with good tips and tricks. She listens to me. She’s paying attention even though I speak a mile a minute. She’s actively listening, not just to respond but to understand my situation and I really appreciate working with her so far and I can’t wait to continue.
