Hi! It’s great to connect. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, I have eight years of experience in the mental health field and have been practicing for four years after earning my Master's from Southern New Hampshire University. I specialize in helping adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety and depression, guiding them to become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect to discuss their concerns and goals in a welcoming environment. I'll conduct an initial assessment to understand their background and specific challenges. We’ll explore their thoughts and behaviors, and I’ll explain the CBT process and how we can work together. By the end of the session, clients will have a clearer understanding of what to expect moving forward and may leave with some initial strategies to try.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider include empathy and the ability to create a safe, supportive environment. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs and emphasize practical strategies they can apply in daily life. Strong communication skills foster open dialogue, allowing for a collaborative therapeutic journey where clients feel engaged and empowered.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assess clients' thoughts and behaviors, set collaborative goals, and help challenge negative thought patterns. I incorporate behavioral techniques and teach coping strategies, while assigning homework to reinforce learning. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to manage their mental health more effectively.
