LPC, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Christine Saint-Cyr, a licensed therapist based in NJ with over 6 years of experience supporting individuals from all backgrounds in a variety of therapeutic settings. I help children, teens, and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, flexible, and tailored to your unique needs, blending evidence-based techniques with a warm, collaborative style. Outside of work, I enjoy time with loved ones, being creative, exploring nature, and playing with my dogs.
The first session is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see if we’re a good fit for each other. It’s a space for you to share what’s been going on, what you hope to get out of therapy, and to ask any questions you may have. I’ll also share how I work and explore how I can best support your needs moving forward.
I care deeply about the individuals I work with and am passionate about helping them make meaningful changes. As an eclectic therapist, I draw from a wide range of therapeutic tools and approaches to tailor sessions to your unique needs. My experience spans high-acuity situations and lower-acuity settings, giving me a broad base of knowledge and strategies to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.
I work best with individuals who are ready to take steps toward feeling better, even if they’re not sure where to start. My clients are often navigating challenges like anxiety, OCD, depression, or major life changes, and they value having a safe, supportive space to explore their thoughts and feelings. They’re open to trying new strategies, reflecting on their experiences, and building skills that help them feel more grounded and confident in daily life.
I take an eclectic approach, meaning I draw from multiple evidence-based therapies to meet each client's unique needs. Depending on your goals, I may integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thinking patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation, mindfulness practices to build present-moment awareness, and solution-focused techniques to create practical steps toward change. This flexible style allows me to adapt our sessions, so they fit your personality, life circumstances, and pace, helping you feel supported and empowered throughout your therapy journey.
