New to Grow
I have been working in the mental health field since 2018, serving as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and director of clinical programming. My experience includes working directly with clients while also mentoring other clinicians and developing evidence-based treatment programs. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused modalities, and I frequently integrate mindfulness-based interventions into my work. My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative, helping clients build insight, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, my focus is simply getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been carrying, and what you hope might feel different in your life. We’ll begin exploring your goals at a pace that feels comfortable, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process. Most importantly, the first session is also about making sure we feel like a good fit to work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
**Who I Am** I have been working in the mental health field since 2018, serving as a therapist, clinical supervisor, and director of clinical programming. **My Greatest Strengths** My style is warm and compassionate while also creating space for thoughtful challenge and growth. I believe meaningful change happens when we feel both supported and gently stretched. I can hold empathy and understanding while also being direct when needed, helping you see patterns clearly and move toward change. I guide clients in understanding how emotions and past experiences are held in the body, practicing how to sit with feelings rather than avoid them. My work balances acceptance and change — honoring where you are while building the skills and insight needed to move forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am deeply passionate about supporting women who are ready to heal from trauma and create a life that feels authentic. Many of my clients are navigating the long-term impact of past experiences while managing the daily pressures of relationships and expectations. If you are tired of just surviving and want to feel grounded, confident, and truly connected to yourself, you are in the right place.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to help you slow down and notice what’s happening internally, because we can’t work on what we’re not yet aware of.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have worked as a DBT therapist, launched a DBT program at the IOP level of care, and completed extensive training in the model, and I value how DBT integrates mindfulness with dialectical thinking while providing tangible, practical skills for real-life change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to return to the foundations of how our thoughts shape our emotions and behaviors, helping clients develop more intentional self-talk and internal language that supports effectiveness and growth.
Trauma Informed Care
I incorporate an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach to explore how early relationship experiences and past wounds shape the way you connect with yourself and others, fostering greater security, trust, and emotional intimacy at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
Compassion Focused
I practice from a compassion-focused lens, believing that when we cultivate safety through kindness and understanding, we create the foundation needed to gently challenge patterns and grow.
