Dr. Michele Byrd
Hello. My name is Michele Byrd. I began practicing as a PMHNP IN 2019 after graduating from Walden University. In 2023 I went on to obtain my Doctor of Nursing Practice. Previous to my time as a PMHNP I was a BSN in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit for 16 years. I received my nursing degree from the University of Miami.

First session
Clients can expect to have someone who listens and interested in creating a strong healthy patient focused relationship. Clients can expect a provider who is open-minded and non-judgmental. A provider that is caring and wants to optimize your mental health.

Ideal clients
I see clients across the life span dealing with various mental health diagnosis. Areas of behavioral health: depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, schizophrenia, adjustment disorder, anger/explosive disorders, and PTSD. The only state in which I prescribe controlled substances is Florida.

I integrate my critical thinking skills to offer the latest evidence-based practice treatment available. I believe in keeping an open-mind and meeting my clients where they are now in their lives. I provide care for children, adolescents, and adults.
