Hi, I am Courtney, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in private practice for 15 years and I am so grateful to have the experience of engaging with clients, exploring techniques and skills to help alleviate symptoms and providing space for listening and validation. I have worked with clients from all walks of life and invite you to ask any questions to help provide a open and trusting therapeutic environment.
Our first session together is a "getting to know you" session. In this session, I will ask many questions to help get to know you and what you are looking to get out of our sessions together. This session will hopefully alleviate any anxiety or fear you have beginning this process.
I feel the most important part of the therapeutic process is the relationship between the client and the counselor. I love getting to know my clients and making sure they feel comfortable and feel trust within this space. I believe that the best therapy is when you leave session and you think about discussions and techniques discussed all week long! I love to provide techniques and skills to help you see changes quickly.
I love working with all ages and walks of life. My primary focus in therapy included anxiety, depression, life transitions and stressors, and family conflict.
