Caitlin DeMara
My background is in social work, which means I meet you where you are. I specialize in anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, and grief. I am also certified in Gerontology and have experience in end of life care, dementia care, and medical social work. In college, I minored in Anthropology, because I am fascinated by the human experience, what makes us human, and how we all can relate to one another.

First session
In our first session, we will use the time to acclimate you to the therapeutic setting and our therapeutic relationship. I will answer any questions you may have, and we will go over the reason you are interested in starting therapy. The first session is a great place for us to not only get to know one another, but to get to know how therapy will work for you specifically moving forward.
Strengths
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my ability to not only listen but to HEAR you, to provide validation, support, and empathy without judgment. My goal is to create a safe space for you to share and process parts of your experience in life that may be difficult to navigate and verbalize.
