Hello. I have been a licensed Psychologist since 1998. Throughout the majority of that time my private practice was within a hospital, providing care for patients that experienced a significant medical issue that lead to adjustments in their overall mental health. These individuals were needing to make adjustments in their everyday life. Obviously, strategies were worked on because depression and/or anxiety might be present. Everyone faces times in their life that is challenging. If this situation is not resolved carefully negative issues can arise. The challenge is to resolve the uncertainty before it becomes compounded and more difficult to resolve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I use the initial session as an evaluation of the client’s current situation and the client’s goals. The boundary of the psyological process is agreed upon. The strategy is often discussed. However, alternate opinions might be mentioned. I usually believe that the primary strategy is establishing goals of experiencing "success." Thus, the goal is to achieve "success" every step of the journey. In time realistic homework is used to increase the client’s involvement into their care leading to a satisfactory outcome!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength is to establish a solid therapeutic relationship ! The key is trust and empathy. However, any codependency is continuous monitored! I have personally experienced a medical crisis when I was in high school. So, I have the personal responsibility of putting the prices together I ordered to let to an success outcome.
