New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel both supportive and purposeful. I strive to create a space where clients can be themselves, speak openly, and feel genuinely heard without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, personable, and compassionate, while also being honest and direct when needed. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, family conflict, boundaries, self-esteem, and personal growth. I believe therapy is not only about understanding what you have been through, but also recognizing patterns, developing healthier ways of coping and communicating, and creating meaningful change in your life.
During our first session, we will focus on developing a clear understanding of your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We will discuss what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process and begin identifying patterns or barriers that may be impacting your well-being. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and clinically focused. I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while also offering thoughtful feedback and appropriate challenges to promote insight, accountability, and meaningful change.
I bring a balance of clinical expertise, compassion, and directness to each session. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while helping clients identify patterns, strengthen boundaries, improve communication, and build greater self-awareness. My approach is collaborative and individualized, with an emphasis on practical strategies, accountability, and meaningful, lasting change.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them from moving forward. I enjoy working with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, communication difficulties, anxiety, family conflict, major life transitions, self-esteem, and boundary concerns. I especially value working with clients who want more than a space to simply talk—they are looking for insight, practical tools, honest feedback, and meaningful growth. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. I welcome clients who are willing to show up authentically, remain curious about themselves, and work collaboratively toward healthier relationships, greater self-awareness, and lasting change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore patterns that may be contributing to distress, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck. I help clients challenge unhelpful thinking, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen communication and boundaries, and practice new ways of responding to difficult situations. I integrate CBT with a person-centered and strengths-based approach, allowing treatment to be individualized to each client’s needs, experiences, and goals.
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify their strengths, recognize what is already working, and develop practical steps toward meaningful change. Rather than focusing exclusively on the problem, we explore the client’s goals, available resources, and exceptions to difficult patterns. I help clients establish clear, achievable goals and build upon existing strengths to create progress both inside and outside of the therapy room.
I use sex therapy interventions to help individuals and couples explore concerns related to intimacy, sexual communication, desire, connection, and relationship satisfaction in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Treatment may include psychoeducation, communication strategies, exploration of beliefs and patterns surrounding intimacy, and strengthening emotional connection. I approach these conversations with sensitivity and respect while helping clients develop a healthier, more fulfilling understanding of intimacy and their relationships.
I use Structural Family Therapy (SFT) to help individuals, couples, and families better understand how relationship patterns, roles, boundaries, and family dynamics influence current concerns. Together, we identify patterns that may contribute to conflict or disconnection and work toward healthier boundaries, clearer communication, and more effective interactions. My goal is to strengthen relationships while helping each person develop a healthier role within the family system.
I use Reality Therapy to help clients focus on their current choices, behaviors, relationships, and goals. Together, we explore what the client wants, whether their current behaviors are helping them achieve those goals, and what changes may be needed. I emphasize personal responsibility and accountability while maintaining a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Clients are encouraged to identify what is within their control and develop practical, realistic steps toward healthier relationships, improved decision-making, and meaningful change.
