New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Wisconsin with experience supporting adolescents, adults, older adults, and families through a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported in exploring their experiences without judgment. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, caregiver burnout, chronic health conditions, grief and loss, family conflict, and major life transitions. I also have experience providing therapeutic services within restorative justice settings, supporting young adults in exploring the circumstances and experiences that have shaped their responses while building healthier coping strategies and pathways forward.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. During our first session, we'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and answer any questions you have. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and decide together what the next steps look like.
I believe one of my greatest strengths is my ability to help people feel comfortable, seen, and genuinely heard. I bring a balance of compassion and honesty to our work, creating a space where you can explore difficult experiences while also recognizing your resilience and strengths. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs by drawing from evidence-based practices, cultural responsiveness, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to build a trusting relationship where healing feels possible, growth feels achievable, and you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, even if they're not sure where to begin. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, chronic health challenges, caregiver stress, relationship or family concerns, or major life transitions. I also enjoy supporting Black women and individuals from diverse backgrounds who are exploring identity, generational patterns, and the impact of systemic stress while creating healthier ways of coping. Whether you're looking to heal from the past, strengthen your relationships, or simply feel more like yourself again, we'll work together to create meaningful and lasting change.

I identify as
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I believe every person's story is shaped by their unique experiences, relationships, culture, and the world around them. Using a culturally sensitive approach means I take time to understand the values, identities, traditions, and lived experiences that have influenced who you are, rather than making assumptions or expecting you to educate me. Together, we acknowledge how factors such as race, culture, family, faith, community, identity, and systemic experiences may impact your mental health and overall well-being. By honoring your experiences and strengths, we can create a therapeutic process that feels authentic, empowering, and meaningful to you.
Strength-Based
A strengths-based approach means we're not just talking about the hard stuff—we're also looking at what's already helping you get through it. Together, we'll build on your strengths, the ways you've already coped, and the people and values that matter most to you. Even if life feels overwhelming right now, I believe you already have strengths we can build on. My role is to help you recognize those strengths, develop new tools along the way, and feel more confident as you move forward.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a practical approach that helps you notice how your thoughts affect the way you feel and what you do. Together, we'll look at patterns that may be making life harder than it needs to be and find new ways to respond that feel more helpful. You'll learn simple, everyday tools to manage stress, handle challenges, and feel more in control of your emotions and choices.
EMDR
EMDR is a type of therapy that helps your brain “unstick” upsetting memories so they don’t feel as intense anymore. We go at your pace and use simple techniques like eye movements or tapping while you think about parts of a memory. You don’t have to share every detail for it to work. Over time, the memory often feels more distant, and you feel more calm and in control in the present.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy helps you slow down and pay attention to what’s happening in the present moment without judgment. In our work together, you’ll learn simple practices like noticing your thoughts, grounding your body, and becoming more aware of your emotions as they come and go. These tools can help you respond to stress in a calmer way instead of feeling overwhelmed or reacting on autopilot. The goal is to help you feel more centered, present, and in control in your daily life.
