(she/her)
Welcome to Campion Mental Health 🌿 I’m Veona, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate psychiatric care for clients throughout Florida. I offer both in-person visits in Lady Lake and secure virtual appointments designed to meet you where you are. My approach combines thoughtful medication management with supportive therapeutic strategies to help you feel more balanced, focused, and emotionally supported. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and sleep concerns, always creating treatment plans that are personalized to your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re navigating stress, looking for greater emotional stability, or simply hoping to feel more like yourself again, you’ll be met with warmth, respect, and collaborative care every step of the way.
You can expect our first session to feel calm, supportive, and collaborative. We’ll take time to get to know each other, review your history, and talk through what’s been going on for you, both challenges and strengths. I’ll ask some structured questions to better understand your symptoms, medical and mental health background, and goals for treatment. Together, we’ll begin to outline a personalized, evidence-based plan, which may include medication options, coping strategies, and supportive therapy approaches. You’ll have space to ask questions, share openly at your own pace, and leave with a clearer understanding of next steps and how we’ll work together moving forward.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my greatest strength is my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life. Through my experience working with clients of various ages and socioeconomic backgrounds, I understand that each person’s journey is unique and comes with its own challenges. My approach focuses on getting to the root of your struggles and creating a personalized treatment plan that blends therapy and medication to help you make real, meaningful progress. With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, my goal is to empower you to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and move toward a life of balance and well-being.
I love supporting people from all walks of life, students, professionals, and anyone just trying to find a little more peace in their day. If you’ve been feeling anxious, stressed, or stuck, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Together, we’ll find the right balance of medication support and therapy to help you feel calmer, more focused, and more like yourself again.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in caring for the whole person with a compassionate and supportive approach. In my practice, I combine thoughtful medication management with gentle, therapeutic support to guide each person on their unique path to wellness. I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven method that helps individuals recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be affecting their mental health. Together, we’ll explore challenges, build healthy coping skills, and create meaningful changes to help ease symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with the tools you need to face life’s ups and downs with confidence. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I’ll be here alongside you, every step of the way.
Supportive
Supportive therapy is a gentle, compassionate approach to mental health care that provides a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express your thoughts and emotions. Unlike more structured therapies, supportive therapy focuses on encouragement, validation, and emotional guidance, helping you build confidence, resilience, and coping skills as you navigate life’s challenges. Through active listening, empathy, and practical support, I work alongside you to explore your feelings, reduce stress, and strengthen your ability to handle difficult situations. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. You deserve a space where you feel supported—I’m here for you. 💙✨
