Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you’ll be welcomed into a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we can take time to understand your experiences, concerns, and what led you to seek care. We’ll discuss your current symptoms, treatment history, and what you hope to gain from a combination of medication management and mild supportive therapy. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and develop an individualized, evidence-based plan tailored to your needs. By the end of the visit, you can expect a clearer clinical direction and a sense of partnership in your care, with ongoing support focused on stabilization, symptom improvement, and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my greatest strength is my ability to connect with individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in caring for the whole person with a compassionate and supportive approach. In my practice, I combine thoughtful medication management with gentle, therapeutic support to guide each person on their unique path to wellness. I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven method that helps individuals recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be affecting their mental health. Together, we’ll explore challenges, build healthy coping skills, and create meaningful changes to help ease symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with the tools you need to face life’s ups and downs with confidence. You don’t have to walk this path alone—I’ll be here alongside you, every step of the way.

Supportive

Supportive therapy is a gentle, compassionate approach to mental health care that provides a safe and non-judgmental space for you to express your thoughts and emotions. Unlike more structured therapies, supportive therapy focuses on encouragement, validation, and emotional guidance, helping you build confidence, resilience, and coping skills as you navigate life’s challenges. Through active listening, empathy, and practical support, I work alongside you to explore your feelings, reduce stress, and strengthen your ability to handle difficult situations. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, grief, or life transitions, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. You deserve a space where you feel supported—I’m here for you. 💙✨
