Seeking strength, understanding, and a path forward? I'm not your typical therapist. I've walked the walk that you have, not just once, but twice. As a former Marine and law enforcement officer, I know firsthand the pressures, traumas, and unique challenges faced by those in service and beyond. Now, I leverage my experience and clinical expertise to guide individuals grappling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and the invisible wounds of trauma.
I start by listening and working with you to see where we can find the most relief early on. We'll collaborate to develop a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. This may involve evidence-based therapies like CBT, or mindfulness techniques, depending on your situation. My goal is to equip you with the skills to navigate challenges, and build healthy coping mechanisms.
I have a wide variety of experiences that allow a level of relatability to things in life that many providers have not experienced. I work on identifying skills, strengths, and coping strategies that you already have, and adapting them to address current concerns. I look at my clients as a collaborator in reaching goals rather than someone that needs to start from scratch.
While I am uniquely equipped to work with members of the veteran and first responder communities, I am able to work with most adults equally as well. I work best with clients who are motivated and have a collaborative attitude towards identifying and meeting their goals.
