I am a member of the Illinois Counseling Association and Illinois Mental Health Counseling Association.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I would like to get to know who you are and answer any questions you may have. I would also like to begin discussing what brought you to see me and what outcomes you are looking for.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a genuine desire to help others and my commitment to supporting them on their journey towards healing and personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have worked over the past 5 years in a clinical setting successfully helping numerous clients over issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, phobias and PTSD using CBT techniques. CBT is used to treat a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD, and trauma-related disorders. I have worked with clients who struggle with perfectionism, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for clients ages 4-18 years who need help processing and coping with traumatic experiences in a safe and structured manner. I work collaboratively with clients to address symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression and other trauma-related issues.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is used to work with children ages 2 to 7 who exhibit challenging behaviors, such as defiance, aggression, and attention difficulties. I also work with parents to address issues such as parenting stress, communication breakdowns and family conflict.
