Grace Fomunung
Hello, and welcome! I am Grace Fomunung. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have a plethora of experience working with patients in the mental health field. I provide a Complete Psychiatric Evaluation to all my patients before treatment. I provide specialized care for clients ranging from 8 years of age, adolescents to seniors that struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD and more in both inpatient and outpatient mental health hospitals in crisis stabilization. I also work with clients who have schizophrenia, OCD, insomnia, bipolar disorder, dementia, PTSD, substance abuse, panic disorders, schizoaffective disorders, and more.
Healthcare doesn't have to be frightening or difficult to navigate, and I'm committed to making the process as simple and painless for you as I can.
I have obtained experience in partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and addiction and drugs intensive outpatient programs (ADIOP). I also work in a psychiatric mental health hospital. I will do a Complete Psychiatric Evaluation, ask questions about your childhood, sleep and stress levels, and provide individualized care by listening to all of your questions and concerns. I will then provide an individualized treatment plan. You will be the priority and you will have a voice that is heard in this space. I have acquired extensive valuable training that enables me to see rapid results with those that I treat, and I also specialize in crisis stabilization for both adult and adolescent clients, and my approach includes carrying out in-depth psychiatric examinations, managing medications, and applying psychopharmacotherapy. It is of utmost importance to me that I support YOU in living a life that is as fulfilling and successful as possible. I strongly believe that healthcare should be accessible, reasonably priced, and of the highest possible quality, all of which I provide. I am very passionate about assisting individuals in getting access to quality mental health care. I exhibit the qualities of proficiency, empathy, respect, and compassion. I am a clinical instructor

I provide supportive psychotherapy with medication management for greater efficacy for my patients. "Your voice will be heard"
Ideal clients
“You are more than a diagnosis, and your story matters.” My ideal client is someone who is ready for change, seeking greater stability, and wants to feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected. I welcome individuals of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Sometimes, simply recognizing that you are not feeling like yourself is the first step toward healing. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, mood changes, trauma and PTSD, stress, panic, insomnia, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. I also support individuals who may need medication adjustment, medication stabilization, or ongoing psychiatric medication management to help improve their symptoms and daily functioning. My approach goes beyond simply prescribing medication. I take time to understand what you are experiencing and how your symptoms affect your relationships, work, sleep, responsibilities, and quality of life. When appropriate, I incorporate supportive psychotherapy to help you process emotions, navigate difficult changes, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence in managing life's challenges. I believe treatment should be individualized because every person responds differently. Together, we will identify your goals, monitor your progress, evaluate how you are responding to treatment, and make thoughtful adjustments when needed. Whether you are looking for relief from persistent symptoms, greater emotional stability, support through a difficult transition, or simply want to understand yourself better, you will have a safe and compassionate space to be yourself. You are not just a diagnosis, and you do not have to navigate your journey alone. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, empowered, and hopeful while working toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
