I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. With a background in education and counseling, I understand the unique challenges young people face both in and out of school. I provide a supportive, down-to-earth space where clients can feel heard and learn practical tools to manage their emotions, build confidence, and create meaningful change in their daily lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel a bit awkward or intimidating at first, and that’s completely normal. My goal in our first session is to help you feel comfortable so you can be yourself. We’ll discuss what’s been happening in your life, what has been stressing you out, and what changes you’d like to see. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what to say because this is your space, and we will move at your pace. Feel free to ask me anything along the way. By the end of our first session, I hope you feel heard, a little more at ease, and confident that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes me unique is my ability to connect with clients in a way that feels genuine, relaxed, and judgment-free. With a background in both education and counseling, I understand the real-life pressures that children, teens, and young adults face—whether it’s school stress, family changes, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other evidence-based strategies to help clients better understand their thoughts, manage emotions, and build coping skills they can actually use in their everyday lives. Clients often appreciate that I meet them where they are. I balance listening and understanding with gentle guidance toward growth, confidence, and lasting change. Working with me means having a safe space to be yourself while also gaining tools to feel more in control and hopeful about your future.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is a child, teen, or young adult who is feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, or everyday stress. They may be navigating challenges like school pressures, family changes, or adjusting to something new. I enjoy working with clients who are open to learning coping skills and growing at their own pace. In a supportive and safe space, I use practical approaches like CBT to help clients manage anxious thoughts, build confidence, and feel more in control of their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with more balanced, realistic thoughts. I also provide practical tools and coping strategies that clients can use in their daily lives to manage anxiety, improve mood, and build confidence. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping clients make meaningful, lasting changes.
