LICSW, 10 years of experience
New to Grow
With over a decade of experience in social work, I’m passionate about being a supportive presence for individuals seeking guidance, clarity, or simply someone to listen. I especially enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions—whether it's starting college, parenting, or caring for aging family members. My background includes a range of treatment settings, from inpatient care to crisis intervention, which has given me a broad perspective and deep compassion for the challenges people face. I also have a special interest in postpartum care and love supporting new parents as they adjust to this meaningful—and often overwhelming—chapter of life.
Our first sessions are focused on getting to know each other and ensuring I'm the right fit for your needs. My goal is for you to feel that your time in counseling is well spent and centered on achieving what matters most to you.
I meet clients where they are, bringing a strong sense of hope and a positive outlook to the work we do together.
I work best with clients who are ready to set goals, take action, and create meaningful change in their lives. I also support those seeking validation, emotional insight, and a deeper understanding of how their feelings influence their behaviors.
People identify and change unhelpful patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It's based on the idea that our thoughts influence our feelings and actions, and by changing the way we think, we can change how we feel and behave.
Faith can be a powerful tool at any point in our lives. Encorporating faith based support can help people heal and achieve their goals. Like any approach I want to start where my clients are comfortable and if having faith as part of their treatment that is something I can and will support.
