Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I received my Masters from Aurora University and have been practicing for 14 years. I have over 30 years of experience in the therapeutic, medical, and social service settings; including outpatient mental health treatment, health coaching, and case management. I specialize in individual therapy with adults dealing with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, family issues, work-life issues, communication problems, anger and stress management.

First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and I will ask for an in-depth history in order to get to know you and allow you to get to know me as well. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
My counseling style is open and collaborative to develop a personalized treatment plan, set goals, and work toward solutions. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion while providing a safe place to work through their issues. I work primarily from a holistic approach, recognizing that our mind, body, and environment are intricately connected.
Ideal clients
My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious. They are interested in learning how to make improvements and have a better understanding of who they are or want to be.
