Lasharra Jenkins, MSW, LCSW, is the founder and therapist of Say It Therapy & Consulting, PLLC. With more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Lasharra provides a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, explore their emotions, and work toward meaningful change. She is licensed to provide therapy in Texas, Georgia, and Mississippi. About Say It Therapy & Consulting Say It Therapy & Consulting, PLLC was created around a simple belief: your truth is safe here. The practice supports individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity, relationships, caregiver stress, and life transitions. Through evidence-based approaches and honest conversation, clients are encouraged to understand themselves, heal from past experiences, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and peace. Say It. Just Say It. 🤎
Your First Session: A Place to Begin Your first therapy session is not about having everything figured out—it’s about starting a conversation. We’ll take time to understand your story, what brought you here, and what you hope to change. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. You don’t have to have the right words. You just need a safe space to begin. Together, we’ll create a path forward that feels supportive, practical, and aligned with your goals.
Therapy with Lasharra is collaborative, intentional, and human. Sessions focus on building insight, emotional regulation, and self-trust while honoring each client’s pace. She integrates evidence-based practices with a relational approach, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move forward with clarity and confidence. Above all, Lasharra believes therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale—where you don’t have to perform, explain away your pain, or have it all figured out.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are ready to slow down, be honest about what they are experiencing, and create meaningful change in their lives. They may look like they have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. I especially enjoy working with: Women navigating identity, relationships, caregiving, self-worth, and major life changes. Men who have been taught to “man up,” suppress their emotions, or handle everything on their own and are ready for a space where they can be honest without judgment. Adolescents & young adults learning who they are, managing emotions, relationships, family dynamics, and life transitions. Caregivers who spend so much time caring for others that they struggle to care for themselves. Individuals experiencing grief—whether grieving a person, relationship, identity, season of life, or the future they once imagined. Couples who want to rebuild trust, improve communication, navigate conflict, and create a healthier relationship. Families working through communication challenges, changing family dynamics, and difficult transitions. High-functioning individuals who continue showing up for everyone else while quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or emotional exhaustion. At Say It Therapy & Consulting, PLLC, I believe therapy isn't only for when life falls apart. Sometimes, therapy is the space you need to understand yourself, process what you've experienced, reconnect with who you are, and decide where you want to go next.
