About me

Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Virginia, with a Master’s degree in Couples & Family Therapy from the University of Oregon and a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology & Mental Health from the University of London (SOAS). For the past ten years, I’ve had the sacred privilege of walking alongside women and couples as they navigate the complexities of love, intimacy, and self-discovery. My training and lived experience across the U.S., U.K., and internationally have deepened my understanding that every soul and every relationship carries its own story, rhythm, and possibility. I approach every session with empathy, curiosity, and reverence for the unique story God is writing in each life. My deepest passion is helping clients return to their authentic selves, reclaim trust in their own knowing, and cultivate the kind of love — with self and with others — that is rooted in truth, harmony, and wholeness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our sessions, my first devotion is to truly see you — your story, your beliefs, your experiences — all the threads that make you uniquely who you are. Together, we’ll approach every part of your journey with curiosity rather than judgment, creating a foundation of self-awareness that becomes fertile ground for growth and transformation. From that place, new possibilities can unfold. Along the way, I’ll also equip you with practical tools to ease anxiety, nurture self-compassion, and support you in carrying the work beyond our time together. For couples, we will begin by exploring your shared story — how you met, what drew you together, and the patterns that may now be keeping you apart. This sacred remembering allows us to see not only where the pain lies, but also where love can be restored and strengthened. For clients using insurance, couples begin with a 45-minute intake session, followed by 30-minute ongoing sessions once or twice a week. Individual sessions are 55 minutes for both intake and ongoing work. For self-pay clients, I offer 55-minute sessions for both individuals and couples, beginning with an intake. My private pay rate is $130 per session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the past ten years, I have walked alongside women and couples across cultures and life experiences, and this has shown me a profound truth: no two journeys are the same. Every soul carries a unique story, and every relationship holds its own rhythm and possibility. My strength lies in listening deeply — to the words spoken and the truths underneath — and helping you uncover your blueprint. For couples, this means slowing down enough to rediscover what makes your love thrive, and building a partnership that reflects not just shared goals but shared values and sacred intention. For women, it means nurturing the wisdom and strength you may have silenced, so that your life begins to reflect the authenticity and wholeness you were created for. I tailor my approach to each journey, but the heart of my work remains the same: empowering you to align with truth, to step into harmony, and to create the life and relationships your soul is longing for.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I walk with women and couples who are ready to step out of survival and into truth — who feel the ache of disconnection within themselves or their relationships and long for something more sacred, more whole. For couples, I create a safe and transformative space to face the places where love has grown distant — in communication, intimacy, and trust. Many of the partners I work with are deeply committed to one another but find themselves caught in cycles of chaos, silence, or feeling unseen. Together, we learn to slow down, to listen beyond the words, and to rebuild connection not only through skill but through presence, honesty, and compassion. My work helps couples remember that intimacy is not just physical — it is the art of being fully known and fully loved. For women, my work is about guiding you back to the voice of your own soul. So many of the women I serve have abandoned themselves in the name of survival — silencing intuition, ignoring desire, forgetting their worth. Therapy with me is an invitation to return home: to trust your inner knowing, to cultivate self-compassion, and to live in alignment with who God created you to be. Whether with a couple or with a woman on her individual journey, my approach is holistic, relational, and God-centered. I believe every crisis — of love, of identity, of intimacy — holds within it the seed of transformation. Together, we will tend to what is breaking down so that what is becoming can rise.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

I create a safe and sacred space where couples can bring their full selves — the love, the longing, and the pain. With ten years of experience as a couple’s therapist, I specialize in guiding partners through challenges in communication, trust, intimacy, and conflict. My work is about more than problem-solving; it is about slowing down enough to hear one another’s hearts again. I help partners see beyond the cycles that keep them stuck, and I invite them to rediscover the qualities that first drew them together. When each person feels safe to speak their truth and to listen with compassion, intimacy can be rebuilt not only through skill, but through presence and honesty. I believe in the transformative power of therapy to turn disconnection into deeper love, resilience, and harmony.

Mind-body approach

Our bodies often carry what our words cannot. In our work together, I’ll invite you to notice where emotions live in your body — the tightness of anxiety, the heaviness of grief, the ache of longing. By learning to listen to these signals with curiosity rather than judgment, you cultivate greater self-awareness and emotional freedom. This embodied awareness allows healing to happen not just in the mind, but throughout the whole self.

Narrative

The stories we tell ourselves shape how we see the world and what we believe is possible. Many of these stories are inherited — from family, culture, or past pain — and they can keep us bound in cycles of fear or self-doubt. Narrative therapy helps us hold these stories up to the light, discerning what is no longer true and reclaiming the power to author a new one. In this space, you are free to reimagine your life in alignment with who God created you to be.

Sex Therapy

Sex is often one of the most vulnerable areas of relationship, yet also one of the most sacred. Whether you are an individual longing to better understand your desires or a couple seeking deeper intimacy, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore what feels hidden, silenced, or unspoken. For individuals, this work may mean learning to honor your needs, embrace your boundaries, and cultivate confidence in your sexual self. For couples, it is about breaking down barriers, communicating with openness, and discovering new pathways to connection and pleasure. My goal is not only to help you experience greater fulfillment in your sexual life, but to help you see intimacy as an act of truth-telling, trust, and sacred union.

I've learned a lot of things to adjust my thinking and feeling, based on questions and feedback she's given. I am slowly being supported and hope that I can continue to make progress. It is sometimes painful but beneficial.
