(she/her)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor based in Texas. I received my Master's degree from the University of Houston-Victoria and have been practicing for 22 years. My job is to help my clients understand the struggles they are having and where they are coming from plus; learn a new path and new skills to help them create a better life for themselves
In the client's first session, I want to hear their story. It helps me to understand and to be able to relate to the events that have brought the client in for treatment.
My strengths as a provider are my compassion and ability to "hear" my clients from their perspective. My goals are to find the best ways to help the client live the best possible life.
My specialty is working with clients who not only have suffered trauma and PTSD but also with associated symptoms related to those events. Many clients also experience depression, anxiety, trust issues, isolation, mood disorders, personality disorders, and much more.

EMDR
Many times our past trauma and emotionally-charged experiences are overly influencing your present emotions, sensations, and thoughts about yourself. EMDR processing helps you break through the emotional blocks that are keeping you from living an adaptive, emotionally healthy life
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a type of therapy that helps people learn to manage many of their mental health issues by changing the way we think and behave. We work together to identify thoughts, feelings and behaviors that might be unhelpful, and find ways to change the thinking that creates them.
