First session
Our initial 60-minute session is a collaborative deep dive into your history and mental health. We’ll use this confidential time to set goals and outline a custom treatment plan, including medication discussions if needed.
Strengths
I am a proven expert in crisis stabilization, formerly leading a groundbreaking, specialized psychiatric emergency room in Ohio, as well as multiple other states—serving as a national model for emergent and urgent mental healthcare throughout the country. Adept at rapid assessment, medication management, and clinical disposition across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ideal clients
I am a mental health advocate that support adults who feel stretched thin by the demands of life—whether that’s the mental fatigue of ADHD, the heavy weight of anxiety and depression, or the relentless pressure of workplace stress. I am particularly passionate about walking alongside women navigating the complexities of menopause and those working through the painful transitions of divorce or relationship changes. Seeking ADHD clients who are interested in non-controlled medications preferred.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
With over six years of experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have helped dozens of clients successfully manage anxiety and break free from recurring, negative thought patterns. My approach focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—the 'CBT triangle.' Together, we will identify unhelpful patterns and reframe them, equipping you with practical, evidence-based tools to live a more relaxed and less stressed life.
Couples Counseling
With more than six years of clinical experience, I specialize in helping couples navigate complex relationship challenges. I focus on creating a non-biased, safe, and supportive space where both partners feel heard. Together, we work to identify, define, and meet clear, mutual objectives to strengthen your bond.
Motivational Interviewing
As a seasoned nurse practitioner, I recognize that you are the true expert on your own life, experiences, and what is best for your health. My role is to partner with you as a guide, walking alongside you rather than telling you what to do. I will actively listen and mirror your own words back to you, this helps us both understand your perspective, lowers any pressure or resistance, and allows you to explore your own motivations for change. Throughout our conversation, I want to highlight your strengths and celebrate the efforts you are already making toward your goals, helping to build your confidence and focus on the positive steps you have already taken
