New to Grow
I am a relaxed and curious therapist who has an interest in helping my clients reach the goals they set for themselves. I have been fully licensed for the past 6 years and have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, crisis intervention, and small outpatient private practice.
A hope that I have is to be able to hear, process and reframe a person's experience and work to see it in new ways.
I hope to help people manage and overcome the personal and relational challenges they find themselves in. I believe we can do our best work together when we are able to remain curious and open to the potential of change. I aim to create a supportive and thoughtful space where clients can explore, reflect on, and challenge the ways they experience and make sense of life’s challenges.
I use narrative therapy because I firmly believe that people are not their problems—the problem is the problem. So often, clients come to me carrying heavy, negative stories about themselves that feel permanent. I use this approach because it allows us to separate your identity from your struggles. Together, we can look at those challenges objectively, uncover your hidden strengths, and help you re-author your story into one where you are the hero, not the victim.
