New to Grow
I strongly align with the belief that therapy is not “one size fits all.” I view each client as experts of their own life, who bring unique strengths, challenges, and we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy. Together, we will build upon your strengths, empower your growth, and enhance your ability to navigate life’s challenges confidently identifying your needs, and create a personalized treatment plan with clear goals and measurable steps towards meeting client goals. That plan will be our roadmap — step by step — toward a healthier, more confident you. My professional training includes a Master of Social Work (MSW); as well as Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. These combined disciplines help me understand people deeply—how they think, how they feel, and how they heal. I bring that knowledge into every session to support your growth and well-being with compassionate, effective, and individualized care.
Your first session is a meet-and-greet and getting-to-know-you appointment. It’s an opportunity for you to get to know me, learn about how I work, and for me to get to know you, your story, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll begin with a Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment to better understand what you are experiencing, what you need, and how I can best support you. During the assessment, we will: • Talk about what brought you to therapy • Discuss your current concerns and goals • Review relevant personal, family, social, and mental health history • Identify your strengths, needs, and areas of support • Discuss your treatment options and next steps • Begin creating a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals The assessment is not about judging you or putting you in a box. It helps me understand the whole person—not just the problem—so therapy can be meaningful and appropriate for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. You can talk at your own pace and ask questions throughout the process. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together toward greater confidence, peace, and growth.
I am very energetic my goal is to create a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental, supportive environment where you can learn, explore, heal, grown and become empowered at your own pace.
My ideal client is someone who is ready for support, open to growth, and willing to take steps toward positive change. They may be going through a difficult season in life, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or unsure about what comes next. The client does not have to have everything figured out. They simply need to be willing to take that first step. Together, we can build on their strengths, develop practical tools, and create a path toward greater confidence, peace, purpose, and a more fulfilling life. They may be struggling with relationships, family concerns, life changes, stress, self-confidence, grief, or finding their sense of purpose. They may know they want something different but are not sure where to begin.
I use different approaches depending on the client's needs, goals, personality, and circumstances. I may combine several methods during treatment. My overall goal is to help clients understand themselves, manage difficult emotions, develop healthy coping skills, improve relationships, solve problems, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
