Hi, I'm a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from Denver Seminary. I have 7 years of experience as a therapist in a variety of treatment contexts including the educational system (K-12 and university), private practice, community based mental health, and outpatient substance abuse treatment. Through these opportunities I have gained an exceptional ability to build a strong therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse walks of life and a proficiency in providing evidence based treatment for a wide range of clinical issues. I find it deeply meaningful to support individuals towards well-being, relational healing, and empowerment.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together we'll review your intake paperwork which helps me better understand your personal history, strengths, values and challenges. We'll have time to discuss what is bothering you and what you hope to change.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I utilize evidence based treatments within cognitive behavioral therapy, including acceptance based behavioral therapies, assertiveness training, and exposure based activities.
