I recognize that each of us has an innate drive toward health and happiness. Still, life’s difficulties can create patterns within us that outlast their usefulness. My goal is to guide and empower clients to implement meaningful change. I emphasize a collaborative approach to address the needs of the client most effectively. Because therapy is not "one size fits all", I utilize an eclectic range of techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, and humanistic approaches. I have experience treating a variety of clients and concerns, including mood, anxiety, trauma, crisis, and addictions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is for a client to leave session feeling that they are heard, valued, and respected. My clients tend leave leave feeling empowered. Sessions might include education, skills-building, insight into behavior patterns, and providing alternate solutions to client challenges.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I pride myself on the ability to tailor treatment to meet the needs of the client. Most often, this includes Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and client-centered approaches. Additionally, I utilize Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brief Strategic Family Therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that compassion is the most essential quality of meaningful therapy. I excel in assessing client needs and translating that into therapy. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents, couples, and families.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples.
