My name is Maureen Odemena. I am a family as well as psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a total of 11 years of experience. I specialize in medication management for numerous mental health disorders including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, to mention but a few. I incorporate psychotherapy as needed for the best possible outcome.
In our first session we will get to know each other by way of introductions. We will then collect an in-depth history that will allow us to generate a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs. We will explore options jointly as we create a therapeutic alliance. We will equally decide on your treatment plan together, taking into consideration what you are able and willing to do.
I have been managing mental health illnesses for 11 years now. I therefore have a wealth of knowledge and experience that translates into highly effective treatment plans.
I love working with children and adults starting at age 10 through the entire lifespan, who are interested in working collaboratively to alleviate the burden of mental health suffering and live their best lives. Sometimes the patient is not in a place where they can collaborate, I will support you with my knowledge, empathy, and compassion until you are able to step into decision-making with me.

Would not recommend. Appointments are maybe 5 min. I didn’t feel heard or even like I could talk about how I think the meds are working.
