Hi, I bring nearly 20 years of nursing experience to my role as a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I began my career in long-term care, where I spent a decade honing my skills in patient care and advocacy. Recognizing my passion for helping others, I continued my education at Albany State University, earning my Master's of Nursing in 2017. I have spent seven years in a primary care setting, where I developed a keen interest in the significant unmet mental health needs in the community. Motivated to make a difference, I pursued a post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Florida State University. I take the time to listen to each patient, aiming to provide a holistic approach to health and wellness. I believe in collaborating closely with patients to formulate individualized treatment plans that best meet their unique needs.
Together formulate a plan that works best for the patient.
I believe in creating a welcoming, calming environment where every patient feels heard and supported. I am a compassionate practitioner who is here to listen and work with you to develop a personalized care plan. Your health and well-being are our my top priorities, and I am dedicated to helping you achieve your wellness goals.
I am positioned to serve clients of ages 6 and up and ready to collaboratively formulate a plan.

Kayla is always so warm & welcoming every time I see her. She feels like a safe place I can land. I can tell her things about me without being embarrassed to share. Each visit I feel like I open up a bit more. I hope to continue seeing Kayla for a long time. Her gentle demeanor puts me at ease.
