As a licensed clinical social worker, I have treated children and adults with a range of concerns, from anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, PTSD, learning disabilities, and much more. I love to learn, laugh and explore with my clients as we create a space where they know that no matter what they will be met with transparency, authenticity, safety and unconditional care and positive regard. I aim to help them develop coping skills, social skills and self-esteem to help them accept support and fortify relationships. ADHD CCSP II and EMDR trained. With experience as a school social worker, private practice owner and an intensive outpatient program therapist, I am confident we can find a solution.
In my first session I will, first and foremost, cultivate a space of caring and openness. While introducing myself, discussing confidentiality and going over consent will be the main focus, I will also strive to get to know the client, what makes them happy, what makes them comfortable and why they've come to see me. The first session is a relaxed, fun session where the client can explore how they feel in therapy.
As a provider I can always promise transparency, forthrightness, authenticity and a non-judgmental stance. I can pivot and adapt therapies to suit the client's changing needs, and will always share the session with them so they can have autonomy and direction over their care.
I am best positioned to serve clients from 3+. I have worked with this population in depth as a school social worker, Intensive Outpatient Program therapist, and private practice owner, and I have treated a variety of different diagnoses and presenting symptoms. In addition, I can support families who are navigating the complex arenas of Special Education and higher levels of psychiatric care.

I use EMDR to help adults process trauma, ADHD-related distress, anxiety, and burnout at the nervous system level- not just the cognitive level. I completed EMDR Training through an EMDRIA-approved program and am working toward full EMDRIA Certification. My approach integrates EMDR with nervous-system-informed care, building resources and stability before moving into reprocessing so clients feel grounded throughout the work.
As a social worker, I am keenly aware of how trauma effects the body and mind. Using a trauma-informed lens in my practice, I will always consider how your past effects you as we move through treatment.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a treatment I use with nearly all of my clients. CBT is a type of talk therapy that helps target a range of issues. Using CBT we will recognize your thought patterns, how they effect your daily life, and develop strategies that are tailor made for you to achieve the goals you have set.
Grounding, mindfulness, distress-tolerance planning, emotional labeling, preparing for triggering situations, and choosing a skill before escalation, DBT is an excellent tool for emotional regulation.
This type of therapy is used to address a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and emotional dysregulation. It is often incorporated into several therapeutic frameworks, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). The core of mindfulness-based therapy is teaching clients to focus on the present moment without judgment. This helps reduce rumination on past events or anxiety about the future, common issues in various mental health conditions.
