Hi , I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Georgia with 6 years of experience working as a therapist. I am married as a Veteran’s spouse for 7 years where we share a blended family of 4 children. I have a passion for helping other and the willingness and reliability to assist with issues of each clients concerns. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, blended families and military adjustments. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, family systems therapy, person-centered and solution-focused therapy. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specifics challenges you're facing. This will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I tend to work with clients who need motivation and want to be heard. My strengths are in teaching and allowing others to see their full potential. I love to look into family history to explore how having multiple perspectives to view issues can help with the healing process.
