My treatment methods

EMDR

With over 14 years of experience as a trauma therapist, I utilize EMDR to help clients process traumatic experiences and alleviate their emotional responses. This transformative approach empowers individuals to move beyond trauma and embrace a more fulfilling, happy life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This approach prioritizes your needs, allowing us to meet you where you are mentally and emotionally. Through validation and reflective listening, we create a supportive environment that encourages self-reflection and personal growth.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Developed by psychologist Richard C. Schwartz, IFS views the mind as a system of distinct subpersonalities or "parts," each with its own perspective. This model is effective in treating a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. The goals of IFS therapy include: - Releasing parts from limiting roles - Harmonizing conflicting parts - Restoring trust in the self - Empowering the self to lead all aspects of life IFS sessions resemble traditional therapy but with a deeper focus on exploring your internal landscape.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps you identify and understand the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, providing practical strategies for managing triggers and enhancing your emotional well-being.

Group Therapy

In a group setting, clients learn and practice recovery strategies while building interpersonal skills and social support networks. This modality is effective for addressing emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
