New to Grow
Hello, my name is Yalin Lezama, and I am a bilingual therapist passionate about supporting individuals in their healing and growth. I am glad you are here. I know it can be difficult in itself to look for a good match for a therapist, especially while experiencing stressful symptoms. I provide a safe, collaborative, and empowering space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and discover practical skills that truly work for you. My approach is rooted in seeing you as a whole person—not just the challenges you face—so you feel supported, understood, and in control of your journey.
In our first session, my focus is on truly getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll talk about your experiences, values, and what feels most important to you right now. I will also take time to gather information about your current symptoms and establish a baseline, which helps us both see where you are starting from. Together, we’ll explore your goals and what you hope to gain through therapy. This allows me to determine the best ways I can support you while also creating a clear plan for how we can work together.
I am passionate about getting to know my clients as whole people—not just their struggles or symptoms. This allows me to understand which therapeutic approaches will be most helpful and to create a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to empower clients to feel confident in how they learn, practice, and implement skills—so that growth continues well beyond our sessions. I strive to create a space where my clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I know that healing takes time, and I honor each client’s pace as we work together.
I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating life’s challenges and transitions. Whether you are experiencing stress from major life changes, relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, family struggles, or women’s issues, I am here to help you find clarity, strength, and new ways of coping. My approach combines compassion with practical tools, so you not only feel heard and understood, but also walk away with strategies that empower you to manage stress and create healthier patterns.
My approach to therapy is humanistic, because I believe each person has the ability to grow, heal, and thrive. I see therapy as a collaborative approach, together we build on your strengths, increase self-awareness, and find ways for you to live more meaningful.
In my practice using attachment-based modality, I pay attention to how past and current relationships impact the way we connect with ourselves and others. My goal is to help clients build healthier and secure ways to relate to ourselves and others.
When I utilize person-centered as treatment method I help clients increase awareness of their potential and being great leaders of their life. I work collaboratively with client to personalize goals appropriate to their needs.
